We all love to smell good, but sometimes your body pH does not agree and can affect your health and skin conditions. Fragrances are a leading cause of ACD, also known as allergic contact dermatitis. The American Academy of Dermatology reported fragrances to be the leading cause of allergic reactions on the skin. They've been reported to cause types of dermatitis and rashes, and about 35% of people report migraines or respiratory problems. Those with sensitive or acne-prone skin types and chronic skin conditions, such as eczema, should try to avoid fragranced skin care. Those problems include asthma attacks, hay fever, headache, migraine, dizziness, breathing problems, rashes, congestion, nausea and seizures. Use fragrances free body wash, soap, candles, and women hygiene products.
